    Tianjin Academy of Fine Arts, formerly known as Beiyang Women's Normal School, was founded by the famous modern educator Mr. Fu Zengxiang in 1906. It is one of the earliest public higher education institutions in China. In 1959, it developed into Hebei Academy of Fine Arts and became an independent higher art institution. In 1980, it was officially named Tianjin Academy of Fine Arts. It is a professional higher art institution with complete disciplines and strong strength. It is one of the eight independent art colleges in China and a national level talent training model innovation experimental zone.     The school currently has two campuses, Tianwei Road and Zhicheng Road, covering an area of 109700 square meters and a building area of 151100 square meters. There are currently three master's degree authorization points in fine arts, design, and art theory, as well as one professional degree authorization point, all of which have the authority to confer master's degrees and master's degrees in art.
