    As the only Chinese-foreign cooperative university with independent legal status to introduce high-quality higher education resources from Israel, the birth of the Guangdong Israel Institute of Technology is an important achievement in the cooperation between China and Israel in the field of education, which is highly valued by the two governments and fully supported by the Guangdong Provincial People's Government, the Shantou Municipal People's Government and the Li Ka Shing Foundation. All funding for the school comes from the provincial and municipal governments.
